  This year I have stayed here several times because it is such a wonderful park. Great views, walking distance to a small beach, the locks at St Peter's , and the services in town eg library, grocery store, etc. Nearby Inn has live music at times. The staff are kind and helpful.With my RV I stay at unserviced sites which are large and nicely wooded, some with fantastic views of the ocean.I wish I could stay here all year!

  We loved this campground! Most sites had views of the lake and the bathrooms were extremely clean. There is a little beach just outside the campground where we were able to swim and paddle.

  Date of stay: July 2016. Altho' you have to reserve your site at Battery Prov. Pk. thru' the internet, we called direct for information and we were assured that there would be no problem with the size of our big rig, so what the heck, let's give it a try. Delighted that we did. Battery is a typical Prov. Park in that there are many tent sites and dry camping sites. Once we made our way to the top of the hill, we had no problem backing into our "large" 60ft.+ level, gravel site. Services are not placed properly for big rig hookup but the "friendly" staff were very accommodating and supplied extra water hose. We also had to use our 30amp extension cord. But it was worth it all. The park is conveniently located to the town of St. Peters and the view was awesome. Washrooms are very clean and modern for a Provincial Park. It was all we expected and then some. I would give this a 5 star rating as a Provincial Park and a 3.5 star rating for services only because of limited facilities for our kind of requirements. YES, I would stay again. WARNING: If you require services as we did, call ahead to make your arrangements. You will still need to book on the internet but the staff can help walk you thru' it to make sure you get what you need.
